TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR

37.5 hours per week

Salary – £16,500pa

This post is a fixed term 12 month contract with the possibility of extension dependant on funding

The training administrator post is a new role and we are looking for a well organised and confident individual to administer both our funded training programme and our advertised education and training service.

The primary purpose of the role is the administration of the Separated Parents Information Programme (delivered on behalf of the family courts and designed to help parents learn more about the challenges of post-separation parenting). You will need to be able to maintain complex paper and computer based systems and be confident and supportive in dealing with members of the public over the phone. The post holder will also deliver day to day administration of Relate workshops, including advertising and promoting courses, co-ordinating delegate bookings and our training venue. The successful applicant will have relevant experience of working to strict deadlines and to key performance indicators. You will have excellent people and communication skills and the ability work supportively within a busy team.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Service Manager, Education and Training as well as our team of trainers and members of the wider admin team.

This full time post is based in our main office, near Five Ways in Birmingham. The working hours will be daytime Monday to Friday but due the nature of the work, some flexibility in working hours will be needed to meet the requirements of the role.

ADMINISTRATOR

37.5 hours per week

Salary £17,000 per annum

Relate Birmingham is a registered charity providing a range of counselling, sex therapy, and educational services to individuals, couples, families and young people across Birmingham, Solihull, Sandwell, Walsall and South Staffordshire.

We have a vacancy for an administrator based at our main premises just off Broad Street, Birmingham to provide overall administrative support to the organisation and work as part of the reception and appointments team.

In this broad and varied role we are looking for a well-organised, confident and resourceful individual to contribute to the day to day running of the office and appointments service and assist the Operations & Administration Manager in maintaining the administrative and financial systems.

You will have significant experience in an administrative role, excellent IT, organisational and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people.  Previous use of appointments software and Sage Line 50 would be beneficial.

The working hours will be daytime Monday to Friday but due to our opening hours some flexibility in working hours will be needed to provide evening and weekend cover.
